Mission

A structured approach to port logistics: this is the mission European Terminal Services (EST). Our society was established in 2004 thanks to the synergy between leading companies operating within the sea economy sector: sea transport, port operations, storage and delivery of goods.

EST offers quick and efficient services, managing the entire logistics chain with excellent technology and quality service.

About Us

The company built two container terminals with its own resources, conforming to international safety standards and the most recent customs legislation. They are situated at Catania Port and Trapani and serve East Sicily and West Sicily respectively.

Those days EST hosts containers of the world’s biggest shipping companies: Maersk, Hapag Lloyd, Cma, Cosco, Zim, Hamburg Sud, Tarros and MSC. Furthermore, the company has created strong links with the governing bodies of the ports to increase awareness in the service.

Port Activity – Loading and Unloading

In the ports of Catania, Trapani, Augusta and Termini Imerese, the company carries out loading and unloading operations for containers, Ro-Ro, rolling stock and general cargo. EST also performs operations with ‘Project cargo’ such as wind turbines.

Shipping Agency

In the main Sicilian ports, shipping agent operations are effectuated for commercial and tourist vessels, including customs manifests, and total support is provided to ship owners for assistance with ships, crew and passengers.

Freight forwarder – Customs Clearence

EST is able to offer its clients complete and highly professional assistance, and to organize worldwide door-to-door delivery via sea, land or air. EST also offers its clients customs assistance for the import and export of goods

General Logistics – Storage and goods delivery

EST designs and manufactures the entire supply chain: from receipt of goods in container storage, loading and delivery of the goods at the destination , directly handling the execution within the shipping and port.

Management of Port Container – Port and Inland Terminals

The company carries out these activities in the ports of Catania, Trapani, Augusta and Termini Imerese, where it manages an area leased to the company by the port authorities. The Glossary Link container terminals meet ISPS, IMO and customs regulations and, within the terminal, all the needs and requirements of the companies and their clients are satisfied.
